Department Manager and Senior Project Manager in one package
As a Department Manager for Onshore Plants you will be responsible for the department growth, projects, finance and employees. In addition, you will play an important role in securing that the department wins and successfully delivers early phase projects (feasibility, concept and FEED studies) in cooperation with sister departments (Financial & Economic Studies and Process, Risk & Safety). Furthermore, a key responsibility is to act as project manager on multidisciplinary midstream projects.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Leading and developing the employees in the department, and acting as technical sparring partner and coach to them
- Supporting revenue generating activities and quality deliveries within budget
- Facilitating - through an engaging leadership style - a profitably growing department
- Managing early phase projects
- Managing tender activities
- Securing business opportunities by representing the department internally and externally, with a particular responsibility to develop and maintain good relations with clients and partners, and with a targeted focus on gas inter-connector pipelines and LNG
O zaposleniku
As a person you have excellent leadership skills and you are driven by developing your employees. At the same time, you have strong commercial skills and business acumen, and with your solid negotiating skills you take pride in winning projects. Along with your strong communication skills, you master to implement changes and adapt to changing situations and requirements. Finally, you have a structured approach to projects and an analytical mind-set to complex problem-solving.
Besides your personal qualifications, we also expect you to have:
- 10-15 years of experience from onshore gas early phase projects e.g. pipelines, compressor stations, receiving terminals or storage facilities
- People leadership experience from similar role or project manager roles
- Managed minimum 3 onshore gas midstream early phase projects
- Several years of experience with the European gas market and clients
- An M.Sc. degree within a relevant engineering field
- Strong English language skills (written and oral). Mastery of other European languages is an advantage
Your new colleagues
The Onshore Plants department is a key department in the Onshore Gas & LNG business area within Ramboll Oil & Gas. We are specifically targeting gas inter-connectors (incl. compressor stations, receiving terminals, storage facilities), LNG regasification plants and due diligence activities. We are based in Copenhagen and our market areas are Europe, Middle East and Africa. The department is a multi-discipline engineering department, currently with approximately 10 employees, enabling us to provide multi-disciplinary consultancy services.
