Director of the MB Group Real Estate Asset Management (GREAM)
We are looking for an employee for the position of Director in ihe strategic area of real estate portfolio management in Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro.
Work location: Slovenia, Ljubljana
Job description:
- planning the strategy of organisational development in accordance with the Bank's development strategy
- monitoring and verifying the implementation and assessment of performance of organisational parts supervising and directing the work of organisational parts in line with the Bank's strategy and business policy
- employee development and participation in staff selection
- organisation of work process and introduction of changes
- supervising and directing the work of an organisational part and individuals in line with the Bank s strategy and business policy
- mentorship and transfer of knowledge
- monitoring and supervising work procedures and proposing and introducing changes and improvements
- management and participation in work groups and project teams
- bearing responsibility for all activities related to the management of investment property in the NLB Group formulating the methodology for the selection of investment property and property management
- managing the entire investment property portfolio
- bearing responsibility for strategic planning and budgeting
- bearing responsibility for the support and supervision of local REAM companies through comprehensive knowledge of real estate in the relevant country and approval of investment plans

The candidate(s) has (have) to fulfil the following criteria:
- at least a university degree in economics or other appropriate science
- priority shall be given to candidates with the knowledge or licence of MRICS, Master in Real Estate and certified company
valuer
- at least 10 years of relevant work experience in international real estate portfolio management
- at least 5 years of work experience in management positions
- extensive experience in real estate markets in Slovenia and SE Europe, familiarity with international investors
- good knowledge of real estate appraisal
- good knowledge of developing real estate management strategy
- good knowledge of finance, property/portfolio and cash flow evaluation
- basic legal, technical and financial knowledge regarding real estate
- basic knowledge of real estate seizure procedures
- fluent knowledge of the English language
- fluent knowledge of the Slovenian language
- fluent knowledge of the Croatian and Serbian language
- excellent negotiation skills
- excellent analytical skills
