HOTEL MANAGER (m/f)

Role description
• Supporting the Managing Director in the overall management and strategic direction of the hotel
• Preparation, presentation and achievement of the hotel's annual Operating Budget and Capital Budget
• Cooperation with Marketing Manager in preparation and achievement of Marketing & Sales Plan
• Communication of expectations and policy & procedural implementation
• Coaching and counseling the staff, assigning accountabilities, planning, monitoring and appraising job results
• Leading and supporting the staff in the achievement of their operational targets
• Playing important role in the recruitment process
• Dealing with customers’ needs
• Actively involved in various industry and community initiatives
• Ambassador for the Hotel brand
• Dealing with contractors and suppliers
• Supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations and furnishings
• Carrying out inspections of property and services
• Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
• Maintaining statistical and financial records

• Marketing and sales experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of budget planning and financial controls
• Knowledge of English language (written and oral) required; an additional foreign language is preferred
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications
• Driving license
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Team player – ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Client focus – ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
