Sales Representative - Surgical Technologies (m/f)

– based in Croatia, responsible for Adriatic West region – Croatia, Slovenia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kosovo
We are looking for an independent, driven and fast learning type of personality, with CAN-DO attitude, and customer oriented Sales Representative, who will be responsible for sales of a range of Medtronic high quality products in Surgical Technologies business.
As Sales Representative, you will develop and maintain a network of accounts to support and expand the utilization of device therapies, diagnostics and monitoring for the disease management according to current and future guidelines. You will collect market intelligence data and follow and report competition activities. Your daily responsibility will involve liaising with our key Customers, maintaining relations with distributors and focusing on sales of Medtronic products in accordance with company programmes and instructions.
In this role, you will also be present in OR-s (Operating Rooms), making sure our products and solutions are properly understood and utilized by the medical staff, proving their full potential and efficiency in saving or improving patients’ lives.

This Sales Representative role will involve flexible working hours, however you will be expected to travel on regular basis within the assigned region (Adriatic West), covering the clinics and hospitals.
Main Responsibilities:
• Sell products and complete solutions for Surgical Technologies (Neurosurgery, Ear, Nose and Throat, Advanced Energy portfolio); set up proper business strategies with maximum profitability, to ensure proper spending and effectiveness
• Provide a technical support to physicians as per product and therapy requirements
• Educate referring physicians on clinical evidence of defined therapies demonstrating improved patient outcomes. Foster brand loyalty by selling Medtronic products, therapies and services which enable referring physicians to optimize patient outcomes
• Generate trust in referring physicians that enhances brand compliance and makes Medtronic the company of choice
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of products, product developments, customer profile and market
• Maintain good working relationships with all decision makers relevant to product groups in hospitals in the territory
• Carry out all administrative duties and all necessary reports in a timely and diligent manner. Attend all required regional and national meetings
• Build strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers and those influential in the purchasing process

• University degree in Medical Science or Engineering
• Proven track record of experience in sales in the Medical Devices industry
• Strong technical skills in field of Medical Devices
• Experience in working effectively with sales force, physicians, nurses and hospital technicians
• Sound Account Management skills
• Consultative selling and negotiation skills
• Competency to build strong business relationship with customers
• Fluent English both written and spoken
• Fluent Croatian language
• Full clean driving license
• Computer literacy
• Willingness to travel extensively
