Support Engineer (m/f)
Network Function Virtualization
and Customer Experience
Management
Location: Zagreb
Your tasks:
In this position you are going to design, engineer, integrate, commission, acceptance test and technically support solutions in network function virtualization (NFV) and customer experience management (CEM). Furthermore, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Provide presales support for our product and solution portfolio with regard to NFV and CEM
Hold presentations, workshops and trainings for customers
Contribute to international competence centers (e.g. product, process or project-specific responsibilities/sub-responsibilities in the Core Competence Center) and act as technical customer interface
Organize regular customer meetings and write customer reports as per customer requirements
Prepare and implement acceptance test plans to meet customers’ needs
Manage maintenance activities within the scope of maintenance agreements (error analysis and recovery)
Take charge of regular, precise internal and external reporting and escalation in the course of your technical activities
Execute pre-service activities during project realization (commissioning, integration and acceptance testing)
Closely cooperate with the sales, presales and operations departments as well as our competence centers
Create customer reports, presentations, documents, workshops and training material
Continuously develop your knowledge of NFV/CEM-related technologies, products and processes
Participate in 24/7 on-duty service

Znanja i kvalifikacije:
Your profile:
You have excellent skills in IT, are familiar with basic telecommunications technology and fulfill the following prerequisites:
Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in telecommunications
Some years’ experience in the system integrator business advantageous
Excellent know-how in wireless and wireline network technology incl. virtualization and orchestration
Familiarity with OpenStack as well as ETSI NFV technology, products and the respective market situation
Extensive skills in Linux and Windows
Know-how in database technology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to perform problem isolation and troubleshooting in complex environments
Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, goal and team-oriented environment
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, often with competing priorities and complexities and with minimal supervision
Interest in new technologies
Attention to detail and high motivation
Team player (m/f) with the capability to work independently
Willingness to assume responsibility
High flexibility, especially with regard to on-call responsibilities, and willingness to travel
Driver’s license
