Role & Responsibilities
Cisco Systems Engineer is a technical expert in an area of specialization with ability to develop solutions which harmoniously use multiple products. Being an SE you will provide consultative support to all account teams in your area of specialization/ market alignment. You will act as technical sales professionals who provides high level technical support and guidance to customers. You will collaborate with the Account Management teams to recommend and develop appropriate customer solution offerings. You will act in an increasingly consultative fashion and will be looked to as an expert or trusted technical advisor in your field by the account team and customers.
The scope of responsibilities includes but not limited to:
• Covering different segments of the market or different verticals.
• Expertize on specific core technologies and strong generalist technology knowledge on the Cisco portfolio.
• Direct contact with Customer; interacting with IT and key decision makers.
• Spend majority of time in pre-sales phase of a deal; most impact potential in this phase due to product landscape knowledge
• Link architecture plays to customer’s current state and business priorities
• Viewed as technical expert and go-to resource for specific architecture
• Examine and understand the business relevance to Cisco technology end users
• Identify and advise on issues that the Customer was not aware of

Minimum Qualifications
• Extensive Cisco and competitive product knowledge.
• Pre-Sales experience and skills are essential for this role!
• In-depth knowledge and strong operating experience in one or more of the following technologies: Routing and Switching, Data Center, Security, Collaboration, etc.
• Motivated team player with strong commercial awareness, committed to customer satisfaction and able to adapt to an environment of rapid change.
• Strong presentation skills, excellent written & verbal communication skills, and ability to manage customer relations at all levels from engineering to higher management.
• Fluent in English and Croatian is a must.
Desired Skills
• Knowledge of relevant solution sets, product line specifications, performance criteria and applications combined with ability to serve as a technology, product and industry expert.
• Thorough competitive knowledge including solutions, technology and product offerings.
• Understanding and ability to present Cisco, its solutions, products, and services.
• Ability to educate customers on Cisco differentiators and influence Customer’s purchase decisions.
• Good time and self-management skills.
• Cisco experience and certifications.
• Permanent strive to remain trained up on and knowledgeable about architecture and products.
• Collaboration with other members of Cisco to develop solutions.
• Ability to create business value and drive increased revenue
