Pfizer in Zagreb is looking for a Brilliant and Enthusiastic Accountant (m/f)
Location: Zagreb (Croatia)
Type of contract: Temporary, Full-time
Mission
Provide Accounting support for monthly books preparation and closing. Perform financial control role related to Procurement an provide Accounting support to internal and external stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
Participate in month -end closing based on US GAAP and local GAAP. Perform financial control role related to Procurement. Liaison for statutory reporting, for GRCC and Internal Audits. Activities include Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia Pfizer legal entities. This includes I/Co transactions, CIT & VAT Compliance, GL, FA, AR, AP modeles. Participate in improving in quality and development of the financial accounts and processes.
Qualifications
- College/University degree in a relevant discipline required (Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent).
- Understanding of internal controls procedures, tax, treasury functions. Strong attention to detail and International orientation.
- Must have the ability to work effectively under and manage to strict production, time and performance deadlines.
- Language skills: fluency in English.
- Strong IT skills: MS Office, ERP knowledge.
