Automation Development Engineer (m/f)

Automation Development Engineer (m/f)
Location: wider Karlovac area
Job Summary
You will be working with highly experienced team of engineers on projects like new machine design, existing machines overhaul and technology improvement and implementation in our factories.
In this role you will be assisting or responsible for:
- New machines development
- Existing machines overhaul
- Technology improvement
- Creation of technical documentations (diagrams, drawings and manuals)
- Material specification
- Providing assistance for assembly
- Testing and startup
- Occasional machine maintenance
- Production support – automation setup
- Existing machines overhaul
You should have:
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical engineering and automation
- Ability to take initiative and follow through to job completion
- Ability to communicate with various departments
- Ability to create clear and detailed reporting
- The discipline to work according to ISO procedures and instructions
- Technical university degree – mechatronic
- Ability to travel
- Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical engineering and automation
Knowledge / Skills:
- Designing electrical diagrams by EPLAN software – advanced user
- PLC programming (Siemens; Logo, Step 7, Tia Portal)
- SolidWorks advanced user
- Practical assembling and making of electrical cabinets
- Handling of basic electrical tools
- Experience in project management
- MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc) > high level required
- Understanding pneumatics/hydraulics
- System installation and startup at place of usage
- Fluency in English
- PLC programming (Siemens; Logo, Step 7, Tia Portal)
