Commissioning Superintendent
Ref. Code: CSP2012
Mission:
Superintendents site activities such as commissioning and start-up, ensures compliance of activities for which he is responsable with the established process and HSE requirements, while respecting the relative time.
Tasks:
1) Reviews contractual documentation.
2) Verifies that the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up requirements are accounted for in engineering documents.
3) Takes part in project planning & scheduling. Prepares and keeps up-to-date the pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and test run execution plans (including the mobilisation of personnel).
4) Supervises the preparation of pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and handover procedures.
5) Reviews the Licensors / Vendors schedule and assignment, concerning pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and test run activities.
6) Supervises the preparation of integrated pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and test run Schedule, for these activities, defines the specific temporary logistic required to comply with the project scope of work, elaborates tools and methods of control.
7) Supports the HSE Manager for aspects falling within his area of responsibility and in the preparation of the general HSE Plan.
8) Ensures the application of the HSE Manual for activities falling within his sphere of responsibility.
9) Ensures the Issue of work progress reports for the part he is responsible for.
10) Ensures, on site, the management of commissioning and start-up activities, coordinating the activities carried out by Company, Contractors, Suppliers, and third parities, with the assistance of the Construction Manager.
11) Assists the Commissioning Manager in plant handover activities.
12) Defines and reviews the commissioning of spare parts & consumables.
