ManpowerGroup Croatia, on behalf of Client, a leading global nautical sector company, is looking for ideal candidate to fulfill the position of Finance Director (m/f).
Place of work:
- Zadar
Key responsibilities:
- Organization and responsibility for all finance reporting and controlling internal and external
- Organization of all finance, accounting, reporting, controlling and tax operations in subsidiary companies
- Preparation and following of the budgets, cash flow and their realization and preparation of all reports
- Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to stakeholders
- Organization and responsibility for all payment and collection processes
- Coordination of audits and other external services
- Create and maintain relationships with service providers and contractors, including banking institutions, auditors and accountants
- Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines
- Follows all changes to regulation related to business finance and accounting and suggests and executes compliance steps
- Manages and coordinates the finance team in multiple locations in the country
- Work in tandem with other functional units in the region i.e HR, Operations, Commerce etc.
Core Competencies, knowledge and experience:
- Problem solving, Decision making, Strategic planning
- Strong quantitative and analytical competency
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and ability to work independently and as a team member
- Good organization and focus on Quality Improvement
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a tight deadline-oriented environment
Must have professional / technical qualifications:
- University degree (preferable Economics and Business)
- Proficiency in English language
- Advanced knowledge of office softwares and accounting & finance systems
- Experience min 5 years in related sectors / 2 years in same or similar position in a renowned organization
- Knowledge of laws and regulations in finance, tax and accounting
- Work experience in an international environment
