For the needs of our client, a growing company in the fitness and wellness industry, we are searching for a motivated candidate to take on the challenge and successfully fulfill the position of:

Finance Manager (m/f)
Location: Zagreb

What will be your responsibilities?

Provide comprehensive support to the Country Manager in budgeting, planning, analysis, cash flow, and monthly reporting
Serve as a liaison between the financial team in headquarters and operations in Croatia
Organize and coordinate the finance department, including managing relationships with external accounting service providers
Ensure timely and accurate reporting in line with local and group requirements
Establish and maintain robust systems and controls to verify the integrity of processes and data
Proactively improve the control environment and contribute to operational efficiency by defining and monitoring KPIs, analyzing changes, and providing recommendations
Conduct regular reviews of operating costs and propose optimization strategies
Coordinate cross-department project teams to ensure effective company-wide processes and encourage active collaboration
Oversee cash management and cash collection activities and procedures
Prepare and actively participate in the budgeting process and ensure budget realization in actual reporting

What do we look for in our ideal candidate?

University degree
3 – 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting
Good knowledge of IFRS and local taxes
Excellent knowledge of English language, spoken and written
Strong Excel and data analytical skills
Strong analytical approach and good communication skills
Team player with sense of individual responsibility and result orientation
Ability to meet deadlines and promptly react
