About Your Role

As Group Data Validation Specialist, you will prepare both the annual and multi-year data validation plans, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational goals
You perform rigorous validation activities using testing methods such as analytical testing, inquiry, observation, inspection, and reperformance to ensure thorough validation of key areas
You coordinate the annual BCBS 239 compliance self-assessment, streamlining and ensuring a structured assessment process across all entities of the Addiko Bank Group
You document, prioritize, and track validation findings, developing actionable plans and overseeing their resolution
You prepare comprehensive annual validation reports detailing compliance levels, validation results, significant findings, and recommendations for improvement
You continuously report your assessments to the Data Governance Committee, driving alignment and accountability in BCBS 239 compliance efforts

Is This You?

You bring academic qualifications in a relevant field, coupled with experience in data governance, data management, and / or audit activities
You possess a strong understanding of data governance frameworks and the principles of BCBS 239
You are fluent in English and Croatian, effectively communicating complex data concepts in both languages, with proficiency in Slovene or German as a valuable advantage
You are skilled in MS 365, SQL, agile methodologies, and data management tools, ensuring efficiency and precision in your work
You have project management expertise as a bonus, enhancing your ability to deliver results in dynamic environments
You thrive as a committed team player with a strong service mindset, demonstrating proactivity and exceptional attention to detail
You excel in analytical thinking and bring a deep sense of responsibility to your work, ensuring consistent and impactful contributions
