Group Maintenance Manager (m/f)

You will be working for renowned and stable international company with operations present in Europe. Your main job as a Group Maintenance Manager will be to manage maintenance teams over all locations and taking decisions and advising teams when nonstandard activities should be performed on any kind of fixed or movable asset, respecting highest H&S standards.
Group Maintenance Manager (m/f)
Location: Karlovac county
Main responsibilities:
- Maintenance team management and reporting; manage, coach and develop maintenance teams that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements
- Maintenance activities standardization across all sites
- New equipment introduction and entire process follow up; manage the process of the introduction of new machinery, plant and equipment from drawing up the specification, to managing suppliers through to full installation in collaboration with all relevant parties
- Preventive maintenance plan setup and execution follow up; setup in coordination with local maintenance manager for all important equipment and ensure that designated buildings, plant and facilities are fit for purpose and to provides proactive support/solutions when required
- Supplier coordination; in cooperation with local maintenance manager, manage special reparations requests to external suppliers, supervise its correct execution
- Maintenance system development and audits; work as part of the Management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimize results and improve quality, in line with quality standards requirements and in line with company and customer requirements
- Asset management; manage the process of the introduction of new machinery and equipment setup in assets registry and keeping evidence of all movable equipment by location
- Education and trainings of the teams; undertake continuous training and development and provide technical expertise to the team
- Health & Safety regulations; ensure that the maintenance teams and all installed equipment operates in accordance with health and safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors.
- Maintenance activities standardization across all sites
Candidate profile:
- Formal education: Technical science engineer
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance management role; experience in planning maintenance operations; understanding of manufacturing and procurement/supply chain and maintenance impact on finance
- Knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems
- Understanding all relevant ISO standard, minimum ISO9001, ISO 14001 and ISO18001
- Able to analyze complex processes
- Able to keep track of and report on activity
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members
- Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD is benefit
- Willing to travel (Europe)
- Knowledge of English at min. B2 level
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance management role; experience in planning maintenance operations; understanding of manufacturing and procurement/supply chain and maintenance impact on finance
