Summary: The U.S. Mission in Zagreb, Croatia is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Guard.
The work schedule for this position is:
• full time – 40 hours per week.
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time after the receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
Supervisory Position: No
Duties: Performs guard service to safeguard the U.S. Embassy in Zagreb, its annexes, official residences and other USG facilities.

EDUCATION: Completion of secondary school is required.
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: One year of experience in a security related field is required.
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Level 2 (limited knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing of English is required. (This may be tested). Level 4 (fluent) speaking/Reading/Writing of Croatian language is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Possession of a valid driver’s license (cat. B) is required. Must be able to use and maintain security equipment.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must work shifts, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications: All applicants under consideration will be required to pass security certifications.
