Installation Manager (m/f)
LOCATION: Zagreb
For our client, PARADOX MUSEUM, the most innovative and fastest growing company in the edutainment industry, we are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Installation Manager to join their team in Zagreb.
Responsibilities:
- Close collaboration with Architecture, Design and Production teams
- Project monitoring including the preparation of project documentation and participation in weekly meetings
- Preparing the installation plan (per day and per hour) to achieve desired efficiency and quality of installation ensuring that common challenges during installations are successfully resolved (for instance, walls, revisions, and electricity)
- Responsible for hiring, retention and training needs of the installation staff for operational purposes
- Managing performance of the installation team and responding to escalated issues in the field
- Optimization of installation process inclusive of the improvement of installation methods previously used, as well as the evaluation of the number of team members involved, time, efficiency, and quality of work
- Preparing daily/weekly progress reports to the COO with special focus on potential problems and proposed resolutions
- Upon finalizing the installation, organizing handover to museum’s General Manager and Maintenance Manager and signing off on the completed installation in line with the agreed execution plan and quality standards.
- Participating in Paradox’s strategy meetings and management team
- Establishing policies and procedures that promote company’s culture and vision
- Coaching, mentoring and leading junior team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of previous work experience in managing installations or other managerial role within the production industry
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, including relevant certifications
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
- Working knowledge of facility machines and equipment
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity progress
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and managing performance skills
- Great communication and presentation skills
- Problem-solving mindset
- Results-oriented
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Availability to travel regularly
- Valid driver’s license
