Our client, Manor Software, is a private company owned by the leading Swiss department store chain Manor AG. With 20+ years of experience in supporting digital and IT operations, they are currently expanding their team, and seeking a proactive and flexible individual who would join them on a position of IT Network Administrator - German / French (m/f).
- operate and monitor communications networks and services to ensure optimal functionality and capacity
- analyze and resolve faults, either through monitoring systems or user reports, to maintain network stability
- diagnose, locate, and correct network and service errors efficiently
- manage and maintain an up-to-date technical inventory of all installed and stored network components and services
- document system states, problems, and solutions for future reference and continuous improvement
- provide regular availability statistics and performance reports to ensure network reliability and transparency.
- a bachelor’s degree/education in computer science or equivalent
- several years of experience in network administration for medium to large networks
- strong knowledge of Cisco networking concepts, including hands-on experience with Cisco IOS, ISE, and WLC
- proficient in using network monitoring/management tools, such as SolarWinds, MACmon, or PRTG
- fluent in speach and writing in German and/or French
- flexible with working hours, including planned weekend work and compensated on-call duties.
- excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- capable of handling high levels of technical responsibility and staying calm under pressure.
