IT SPECIALIST (M/F)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install and configure software and hardware
- Set up accounts and workstations
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Take part in hardware and software acquisition, manage inventory of all hardware and software assets
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
- Optimizing existing and implementing new processes and improvements, and introducing new systems and servers, if necessary
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required
- 3-5 years of experience in IT or IT-related field
- System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus
- Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
- Experience with scripting and automation tools
- A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans
- Excellent communication skills and knowledge of English language
