At the moment, we are recruiting a motivated Junior Hotel Management Executive (permanent position), for our partner a luxury hotel group with wonderful properties in Austria and Croatia, with immediate starting or upon agreement.
Junior Hotel Management Executive (m/f)
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Tourism / Hospitality Management
- At least 2 years’ experience in similar management position or experienced in Hotel Operation, Front Office or Reservation Departments, FB Management, for an upscale hotel
- Very good English, German and Italian, Croatian would be a strong advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of relevant computer software including MS Office and booking, invoicing and payment systems. Knowledge of OPERA is an advantage
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills, a great communicator with hands-on experience in working with international team and interacting with international guests
- Willingness to stay long with the group and grow to a managerial position such as Hotel Manager.
- Ability to work cohesively and always be reliable, flexible and a true team player
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Being calm under pressure with well-groomed appearance and very good manners
- Excellent customer service skills, guest and service-oriented thinking and acting
- Eu citizen
Tasks:
- Manage budgets/expenses, analyze, and interpret financial information and monitor sales and profits
- Accounts receivable management, monitor and control of cash accounting and report to management team
- Participate in development and implementation of an intuitive and efficient marketing strategy to promote the hotel’s services
- Collaborate with external parties such as suppliers, travel agencies, event/conference planners etc.
- Support the management team in day-to-day operations upon need
- Optimizing and controlling of work processes, create SOP and participate in various cross-departmental meetings
- Communicate with customers when appropriate (welcome them in the facilities, address their complaints, find solutions to problems, offer information etc.)
- Implementation of instruction and training of the team as well as the induction of new colleagues and trainees
- Cooperating effectively with other departments like housekeeping, reservations, technology, hotel management and other as assigned
