About This Job
The Astellas Adriatic & Baltics field-based sale team currently have an exciting opportunity for a pharmaceutical Key Account Manager to join the team in Croatia to support the existing product portfolio nationally in Oncology, Urology and support the product launch of a new and exciting first in class product in Nephrology. You will be responsible for driving product usage to achieve sales, market share and profitability targets in Dalmatia region. Prepare and execute commercial tactical plans for key accounts, maintaining and strengthening the relationship with relevant customers and support them appropriately for the good of patients. You will look for new opportunities to maximize the efficiency of Astellas resources, according to policies considering also Astellas Compliance policy.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain relationships, detail to groups of doctors and HC professionals
- Works strategically in order to increase the notoriety and reputation of the pharmaceutical products of the company in the assigned therapeutic and geographical area
- Responsible of developments of the whole assigned area – detailing products in all therapeutic areas of the company; allocating their time resources in alignment with the goals and strategy of the affiliate; setting together with the Sales manager of integrated plans on account level in collaboration with Medical function where appropriate and in accordance with Astellas policies
- Initiate and organize other supporting actions (e.g. CME, promotional meetings, sponsorship, etc.)
- Sustainably using and promoting digital way of working in relationships with the customers
- Develop a territory plan, perform market analysis at territory level, implement and monitor plan
- Collect and share information about contacts with doctors and market developments
- Professional, timely and qualitative performance of work in accordance with determined goals
- Ensure product safety information is reported to pharmacovigilance department (DSO) no later than 24 hours from the receipt date
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
- Proven track record in key account management and profound experience in a relevant commercial/marketing in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience within Oncology, Urology and Nephrology Therapy Area is preferred
- Demonstrable experience of launching a new product
- Proven ability to influence, challenge and engage diverse range of internal & external customers
- Fluent in written and verbal business English.
Educations/Qualifications
- Minimum of Degree in a science/health-related subject
