Smed Engineering BH d.o.o. is a Norwegian-owned engineering company, with local offices in Sarajevo and Mostar.
Our head office in Norway is located at Støren.
We currently have around 30 employees who work with engineering services for the Scandinavian market. We provide services to customers within the following segments; maritime industry, fish farming, hydraulics, process industry, offshore and traditional mechanical industry.
We currently have a good development in our customer base and volume of assignments and are therefore looking for a skilled and proactive Marketing manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Organization of the work in the marketing and communications department.
- The position requires systematicity, creativity, proactivity, and good collaboration skills.
- Develop a work strategy within marketing and communication.
- Marketing of the company, its services externally and internally and reporting in writing.
- Collaborate with the CEO in Norway/BIH and the engineering team in BIH for marketing/sales and development of our customers.
- The position entails a good deal of travel abroad around the Balkans.
- Represent the company to our collaboration partners.
- High degree of independence in work.
- Reporting according to internal routines.
QUALIFICATIONS & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- At least 3 years of work experience from similar jobs.
- Expressed proactivity and focus on achieving results.
- Creative approach when designing work strategies.
- Desired education as Market Economist or equivalent.
- Desirable technical education which is an advantage, but not a condition.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English required, preferably with knowledge of Norwegian, but not a condition.
- Excellent computer skills (MS office).
- Driving license category B.
