The expansion of the Rock Mineral Wool (RMW) Department means we are now looking to recruit a new Project Manager - Industrial Deployment in Skofja Loka, Slovenia and reporting to Pierre-Louis Jeunehomme.

As Project Manager, you'd be overseeing all aspects of the project using planning, monitoring and controlling processes. you'd be responsible for the coordination and the completion of the project and to this end will perform a variety of tasks including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress of the project. You may be responsible for more than one project at a time.
What you’ll be doing: Manage multiple projects following the KIE Capital Investment Project Management process through its different phases and gate reviews:
- Develop, plan, coordinate and direct the execution of all phases of a project from concept to completion and customer acceptance
- Analyze various options for all phases of project execution, cost savings, schedules improvement and establish a project implementation plan
- Manage engineering, planning, control, procurement, and construction personnel in a matrix organization to accomplish project objectives
- Motivate project team member and works with the project team members to ensure adequate and timely work to accomplish objectives
- Manage project changes to minimize cost, timing and performance impacts, and obtains management approval of changes when required
- Resolve issues and coordinates activities by serving as the focal point between the customers, project team, and contractors
- Negotiate issues with contractors/suppliers to the best interest of the project including plants rules
- Deliver the objectives of the project on time, within budget tolerance, and meeting the fitness for use
- Prepare scopes and estimates with options/alternatives as appropriate to allow the customer to make appropriate business decisions and obtain appropriation approval
- Communicate well through periodic reports and reviews with the project team, engineering management, and the customer
- Follow up after construction by ascertaining that the health, safety and environmental group procedure and local rules are well implemented and respected.
What we’d love for you to have:

We are interested in you as a person; your attitude, behaviours and values. As long as you have the willingness to learn anything you need for the role that you don't already have, we'd love to speak to you. We're looking for someone who has a university degree /industrial engineer level (“polyvalent” education: mechanic, electricity, physics) with experience managing mechanical main equipment design and production projects. As well a person with knowledge of project management software, techniques and presentation methods and have worked with mechanical systems as conveyors, gearboxes, saws, pumps, belts, packaging equipment, etc. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of machine control (PLC, control systems) and basic techno/economic analysis skills.
For this role you should be as comfortable with the theory as you are with the practice.( at least 5 years’ experience in industrial environment), proficient in leading, training, and facilitating teams, and willing to spend period’s abroad (50% of the working time, on yearly basis) with periods up to 8 weeks in a row. Lastly, English is mandatory, speaking Croatian and/or German is a definite plus !
