As part of the STRABAG Group, we - STRABAG BRVZ - provide all commercial and IT services throughout the Group. In IT, we look after many thousands of international users and cover the entire spectrum of the IT world. From software development, IT purchasing, product management and support to classic IT operations with our own data centres and the internal service desk. 500 IT employees work every day to optimally equip and support the STRABAG Group units. Following tasks await you:
- Software development in a modern environment of technologies and tools, both in the field of mainframe and cloud computing
- Accompaniment of requirement analyses and development of complex solutions
- New and further development of ERP and construction software in the backend environment
- You combine the new with the old IT environment and therefore work with a variety of technologies, from microservices with different databases to AI/SaaS solutions and IBM i RPG development
- Continuous delivery of software in an agile team
- During code reviews and solution design meetings, you share your knowledge with team members and are open to suggestions for improvement
Profile:
- Solid expertise in programming and interest in learning new frameworks and technologies
- Several years of practical professional experience in the field of software development
- Proficient knowledge in an object-oriented programming language such as Java
- You are communicative and a team player with a high level of commitment, who thinks in terms of solutions and actively offers them
- Very good English language skills, both written and spoken. German would be a plus
