Summary: The U.S. Mission in Zagreb, Croatia is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Voucher Examiner.
The work schedule for this position is:
• full time – 40 hours per week.
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time after the receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
Supervisory Position: No
Duties: Responsible for examining and auditing vouchers for Embassies Zagreb and Podgorica. Prepares vouchers for certifying officer's signature. Verifies and controls electronic payment process between GFS Charleston, Zagrebacka Banka (ZB), and vendors. Monitors, maintains, and reconciles records. Backs up the other voucher examiner, and completes other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: Completion of secondary school is required.
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: Two years of experience in fiscal clerical work, accounting and voucher examining is required.
KNOWLEDGE: Must have good knowledge of financial procedures and good knowledge of arithmetic.
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Level III (good working knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing of English is required. (This may be tested). Level 4 (fluent) speaking/Reading/Writing of Croatian language is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have excellent computer skills. Must be detail-oriented, precise, and able to follow procedures.
Qualifications: All applicants under consideration will be required to pass security certifications.
