Duties
Daily warehousing tasks: 70%
Moves Government furniture, furnishings, and equipment between warehouse and Government leased/owned offices and residences. Places supplies and furniture in assigned storage bays at warehouse using forklift and by hand. Assists with annual inventories of Government properties. Assists maintenance staff in performing assigned work requests at Embassy office and residences. Provides general outdoor maintenance support, such as keeping courtyard area washed and cleaned.
Drives Embassy vehicles, including Embassy truck: 25%
Unloads and assists receiving officer inspect incoming furniture and supplies.
Adminsitrative tasks: 5%
Submits purchase requests, blanket purchase agreement (BPA) calls, and IDIQ contract requests for contract task labor.
Performs other duties, as assigned: 5%

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: Six months of supply systems or warehouse worker experience.
LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS/TRAININGS: Must have a valid drivers license cat B and cat C (trucks). Must have license to operate a forklift.
If Applicant does not have Category C (Truck license) or license to operate a forklift, they will have six months from commencement of employment to obtain, at own expense.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must have excellent knowledge about warehousing principles and procedures. Must use correct lifting methods.
Education Requirements:
Completion of Primary School required.
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: English - Limited Knowledge (will be tested), Croatian - Good Working Knowledge.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must possess basic computer skills. Must be able to perform heavy lifting (50lbs - approx. 23kg).
Please ensure that you complete all of the language levels required, including the Primary language Croatian and attach the required documents.
